Institute of Advanced Studies welcomes applications for residential fellowships

the institute of advanced studies (ias) is delighted to announce a major new initiative which will begin from september 2020.

Professor Marsha Meskimmon, Director of the IAS, said: “We are very excited to be adding this scheme to the portfolio of opportunities available through the IAS.

抢红包扫雷有什么技巧applications to the scheme will need to demonstrate how the research proposed will extend loughborough’s international research collaborations and networks, encourage innovative interdisciplinary research, and catalyse new and emergent directions for future research projects.

The scheme will be accepting applications until 15 May 2020. Information about the scheme as well as how to apply can be found on the IAS website.

ias residential fellowships are for a period of one month, tenable at any point between 1 september 2020 - 31 august 2021, as agreed between the institute and fellow.

professor steve rothberg, pro vice chancellor for research added: “it’s hard to believe that ias is only in its third year. we’ve already inspired countless new international collaborations, having hosted 165 ias visiting fellows from more than 35 countries, and i am very excited by the launch of our residential fellowship programme which marks a major next step for this important initiative.”
